About
PCMacMedic is the consulting practice of a senior IT systems administrator and infrastructure manager with more than thirty-five years delivering "white glove" service and high-level infrastructure management for aerospace, healthcare, biotech, and enterprise organizations.
Over three decades, that work has spanned some of the most demanding technical environments in the country — from the engineering fleets behind Space Shuttle Operations and International Space Station design, to CLIA-certified clinical laboratories running genetic sequencers and PCR instruments. More than 20,000 endpoints across a career in aerospace, defense, healthcare, and biotech — now distilled into hands-on, single-owner IT for the organizations that need that caliber of discipline without the enterprise headcount.
That range now centers on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID security — including hands-on response to adversary-in-the-middle identity compromises, audit-log and sign-in forensics, and the Conditional Access and MFA hardening that closes the gaps afterward — alongside the vendor and cost discipline that has saved organizations hundreds of thousands of dollars.
My specialty is the "solo admin" environment — taking full ownership of IT operations, security, and budgeting for organizations that need enterprise-grade discipline without an enterprise-sized team. That means being the systems administrator, the cloud and security lead, the network engineer, and the IT strategist, all under one accountable relationship.
I currently consult for biotech companies, managing their Microsoft 365 environments and laboratory information systems.
How I work
I take responsibility for the outcome, not just the ticket. When IT is mine to own, nothing falls through the cracks.
Everything is documented — diagrams, inventories, procedures — so your environment is never a black box.
I treat your budget like my own, negotiating vendors and extending lifecycles without compromising security.
